April 2022
We hope you are well and enjoying a productive and successful spring so far. It’s been an eventful quarter here at REdirect.

It's been our privilege to work with some of the most well known companies in the real estate industry. We appreciate the opportunity to provide services and solutions that help them achieve their business goals. We work with the largest software providers for full-life cycle implementations and many of the leading complementary solution providers.
We hope you are well and enjoying a productive and successful spring so far. It’s been an eventful quarter here at REdirect.
Catching up on a busy November. Learn all about what’s new in robotic process automation (RPA), read about our recap of MRI Ascend 2021, and learn how MRI Analytix makes real estate business intelligence easy.
Our annual summit is highly anticipated by the entire REdirect team. Though we sadly won’t be able to meet in person this year, we are still having fun, enjoying connecting with our colleagues remotely, and learning a lot.
Anyone else feel like this year has been more trick than treat? While spooky season is here, the scariest part might just be your data.
As temperatures cool and summer fades, fall traditionally marks a time to get back into routines.
And just like that, we’re into Q3. With the world as unpredictable as it is, it’s nice to seek solace in things you can count on, which is why automation is important now and into the future. After all, automation offers a way for real estate managers and investors to gain some insight and consistency. But knowing what to automate and how can be the trickiest part of all.
Big changes due to COVID-19 have meant readjusting all aspects of our lives, from redefining work/life balance to making shifts in how we assess our businesses and strategic next moves. The good news is that we aren’t in this alone, and REdirect has been uniquely situated to handle it all.
During uncertain times, many of us are wondering how we move forward. We’re seeing this time as a moment of reflection. It’s an opportunity to look at the challenges facing your business and plan for the necessary changes that will make it run like a well-oiled machine.
Alongside the big changes happening around us, we’ve entered into a new quarter. To kick off Q2, we’re talking about changing trends that might give you a leg up when things settle back down.
Ah, the end of Q1. What a wild—ongoing—ride it’s been as we all collectively try to stay healthy and not obsessively check our 401(k) performance. While the future may seem uncertain, REdirect’s remote workforce is in place and we’re carrying on with business as normally as possible.
With all the tools available in 2020, it might be hard to know if you’re using the right technology. Consider this common problem: repetitive tasks with frequent keystrokes and mouse-clicks can cost up to two days a month, and that’s not even factoring in for errors. We’re exploring task-driven scenarios to shed fresh light on what solutions might solve your process-based problems.
It’s a new year and a new decade! Before we dive in, we wanted to look back at some important charitable events of 2019. Giving is always important to us, and we made it an even bigger piece of REdirect this past year by elevating a new internal policy. After all, it’s important to us to make the world a little bit better in any way we can.
’Tis the season for giving and celebrating those who have helped us along the way. In the spirit of giving and in lieu of holiday cards, we have made a donation to Project Hope, a global health and humanitarian relief organization that helps empower health care workers to address public health challenges. It’s our goal to give back to others in need; when more people have opportunity, our communities thrive collectively.
The busy holiday season is almost in full swing, and before we dig into our holiday dinners, we’re diving deep into the power and process of automation and big data. While it’s no gravy train, migrating your data is one of the most important steps to making your data work for you. To get the most out of your data, it’s important to pick a strong starting point, like finding the root of why one asset is outperforming another. It’s through this predictive lens that big data can impact your business.
Hope you’ve had a scary good month so far! We’ve made it to the fourth and final quarter of 2019, and we’re looking forward to all the treats and maybe some new tips and tricks that come our way this Halloween season.
Fall is officially here, and with it comes brisk temperatures and beautiful fall foliage. While we’ve spent much of the summer soaking in those long days and sun rays, we’re happy to see a change.
In the blink of an eye, the summer season will be behind us. And with fall approaching, we’re not just looking forward to the changing of the leaves. We are also looking forward to the fall conference season. It’s a great time of year to learn what’s new with Yardi and MRI.
The summer sun is heating up and so are some of the hottest topics in real estate. From start-up culture to tenant laws, there are a lot of changes in the real-estate climate.
We’re heading into summer and nearing the start of Q3! With a fresh quarter right around the corner, we’ve rounded up some of our partnerships that will move your business further into the digital future.
We hope you had a nice Memorial Day Weekend and the extended time in the sun was restorative. We’re so appreciative to everyone serving our country and making it possible for us to overcome our own unique challenges.
With spring officially here, we're eager to keep the momentum going from our busy winter. The REdirect team got together earlier this month in NYC to collaborate on best practices and newer services like investment management and robotic process automation. We’re reenergized and ready for a challenge: Show us your most complex projects!
It’s nearly the end of the first quarter of 2019. How did you do?If you’re looking ahead—perhaps grappling with SOX compliance, considering an upgrade, the benefits of working with a real estate software implementation consultant, or trying to figure out which spring conferences to attend, this newsletter is for you.
We have some exciting news to share with you: REdirect is now offering services internationally! Anticipating continued investment within the international real estate market, our expansion goal is to maximize our clients’ technological investments and further propel industry growth.
Happy New Year!Since 1999, we’ve been handling complex integrations, upgrades, and post-launch support for real estate pros just like you. In 2018 we closed nearly 7,000 tickets, facilitated change for more than 150 companies, attended dozens of real estate tech conferences, and wrapped up the year with a generous annual donation to Project Hope.
We’re proudly celebrating our 20th anniversary throughout 2019. This year, we look forward to expanding our footprint and taking on even more complex projects. We’re most excited to help support and improve your business processes by integrating new features, functions, and reports. We are truly thankful for 20 years of continual growth and the trust that our clients put in us.
Here’s to 2 decades of partnerships and success—thank you for making it possible!
December is a good time to reflect on the year as a whole—challenges, solutions, successes—and set goals for the coming year based on your observations. For REdirect, 2018 was a great year: We are grateful for our clients, our internal team, and our ability to attend so many workshops and conferences to better ourselves this year.
Every month, year after year, we are thankful for our clients and their continued business. In November, we are particularly grateful for their loyalty and confidence in our team.
Trick or treat! Welcome to the fourth and final quarter of 2018. As always, we’ve been keeping busy with events and conferences. Most recently, we attended YASC San Diego and the MRI International User Conference in Atlanta—and it’s our treat to share our findings and a trick or two we learned at these great events.
Let’s take a moment to say so-long to summer and take another warmly welcoming fall. We hope you’ve spent your final days of summer soaking it up and being productive. We sure did!
Well, summer is starting to come to a close. The beach umbrellas are folding up and the sunblock is getting stored away until next season.
We hope you had a fabulous 4th and the rest of your summer has been equally exciting. This spring, we had the opportunity to attend both the East Coast Yardi Conference in D.C. and the Realcomm conference in Las Vegas. But unlike Sin City’s popular mantra, “What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas,” we’re eager to report what we learned at the Realcomm conference as well as Yardi’s!
Hooray! It’s officially summer. But that doesn’t mean we are working any less hard: In fact, we’re working overdrive to keep you informed with all the latest and greatest within the industry. We’ve recently updated our popular budgeting and forecasting blog for those of you in the market for a new budgeting tool; we’re eager to share with you our latest post on cyber security and how it’s impacting the RE industry; and we’ve just published a must-read on NYC real estate and construction trends.
Looks like our New York City office has made it through the April showers (snow and all) and we’re well into the May flowers!
That means we’re celebrating the one-year anniversary of launching our Managed IT Services and SharePoint solution! This also means we’ll soon be on our way to Yardi’s Annual Solutions Conference in D.C. at the end of the month. And the energy doesn’t stop there, we’ve also been busy blogging about some disruptive tech blogs that may just be the next RE movement.
We hope you’re enjoying the nice weather. We’ll catch ya next month when it’s officially summer!
We hope you’re doing well and enjoying Spring—because we sure are. We kicked off the first week of spring with our annual team summit in New York City and have been keeping busy helping clients and scribing blogs to help you all stay in the know.
And just like that, it’s spring! We gave Quarter 1 a proper farewell with our annual team dinner in midtown Manhattan celebrating our successes in 2017, and welcomed Quarter 2 with our yearly three-day team summit looking ahead to what 2018 has in store for our growing team. We also took a moment to update our most-read blog, which focuses on Yardi 7s features and benefits—just for you.
We hope everyone is rockin’ and rollin’ this February. We hope you breezed through your 1099s a few weeks ago, and you’re cruising through the year-end close of your system. But, in case you didn’t, we’ve got you covered with two of our recent blogs inclusive of 1099 filing tips and an MRI end-of-year checklist. We also have some great insights on Yardi Voyager 7s whether you’ve made the upgrade or you’re still considering it.
We hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season and is seeing a successful start to 2018. At the beginning of every year, we like to reflect on the work that we’ve done and the progress our industry has made as a whole. In particular, we took a look at our most successful Yardi and MRI blogs, which we feel gives a great overview of these two real estate software companies’ services, growth, and goals.
As we count down the final days of 2017, we would like to thank our clients for their confidence in our team and the tremendous opportunities they’ve given us this year.
Last month we left MRI’s International User Conference in Orlando overflowing with news and insights—and the winner of our raffle prize, a Navdy navigation system! In the month prior, we walked away from YASC 2017 with just as much exciting info—so much that we had to blog about both events; and in Yardi’s case, we had to write something focusing just on Yardi Investment Management 7.5. Make sure to check out our blog and newsletter to see what we’ve been up to.
Last month we partied with Yardi at YASC 2017 in San Diego. We walked away with so many new insights and product updates we just had to blog about it. We also got a little more molecular by exploring Yardi Orion Business Intelligence; and we’re currently working on a blog focusing on Yardi’s investment management tool.
It’s officially fall and we’re one step closer to a new year. As we prepare to enter the final quarter of 2017, we wanted to make sure we’re ready for 2018 and beyond. We’re looking at cost-effective construction modules as building costs nationwide are expected rise next year. We’re excited to kick off October at MRI’s International Users Conference in Orlando and NMHC’s OPTECH Conference and Expo in Vegas. And our new Managed IT Services team is keeping tabs on the best tech products and features for our clients.
Our newsletter this month focuses on the future: The future of investment management software and the future of technology in commercial real estate. We’ve been blogging about our dream investment management platform and what technology is mandatory in today’s real estate landscape. We’re also excited about The Real Estate CFO & COO Forum East this September, our participation as a featured panelist speaking on automation, and, of course, the Yardi Advanced Solutions Conference next month in San Diego! If you're headed to either event, let's connect and see how we can help each other.
There are so many variables and advancements in our industry, it’s hard to keep up. That’s why you can count on us to do it for you. It’s truly our pleasure. And our passion.
Things are heating up this summer for CRE and the REdirect team. Last month we attended Realcomm 2017 in sunny San Diego. We have SO much to fill you in on, plus one of our own is a featured panelist in Realcomm’s August investment management webinar! We’re also continuing to keep our finger on the industry pulse, and we’re excited to share some unexpected happenings in the Bronx.
Today’s the summer solstice! The longest day of the year! We hope you take advantage of the daylight—complete one more task, brainstorm one more solution—and do something great! With summer officially upon us, we’re taking a moment to reflect on our productive spring—our trip to D.C. for the Yardi Advanced Solutions Conference, our introduction of Managed IT Services and Commercial Real Estate SharePoint (CRES), and much, much more.
This month is a big one for the REdirect team as we proudly announce that we are now offering Managed IT Services to our clients. We’re incredibly excited to be able to better serve you through this improved streamlined approach to real estate technology and IT services. We’re also excited to attend Yardi’s spring conference this week, and keep sharp with how the latest technology will “drive” CRE. Our findings might surprise you!
Spring has sprung and there’s no better time for learning and growth! This is why we’re heading off to the Argus Connect 2017 Customer Conference in Arizona and the 3rd Annual Eisner Amper Real Estate Private Equity Summit West in San Fran! We’re also kicking off this spring, and our partnership with RealPage, with a webinar on its Portfolio Asset Management solution.
Our March newsletter focuses on REIM with the release of our latest eBook, and news that we’re now certified RealPage consultants for its new Investment Accounting and Portfolio Asset Management software platforms.
Real estate technology can evolve at a breakneck pace, but REdirect’s got its race shoes on and we’re running at the head of the pack. As trusted real estate technology consultants, we’re always here to help navigate the course.
This month’s newsletter focuses on just that: We’re offering a webinar at the beginning of March that tackles the nuances of Enterprise Risk Management, and we’ve just released our latest eBook examining MRI’s changes, updates, and expansions in 2016, and what to expect in the year to come. We also continue to populate our blog with the latest and greatest trends and industry news to keep you in the know and at the forefront of the real estate technology space.
The first month of the first quarter is just about over. It’s a busy time for us all: 1099 deadlines are just around the corner; real estate investors and property managers are taking advantage of the real estate software we support; we’re helping clients navigate these waters to maximize success in 2017 and beyond; and we’ve just announced our move to a new office in San Francisco. This month’s newsletter expands on some of these exciting topics with our latest blog posts. We hope you find this information interesting and insightful.
From our perspective—here at the crossroads of real estate and technology—2016 has been a remarkable year of growth and evolution.
With a team that is growing, our client relationships deepening, and our work with vendors strengthening, we at REdirect truly have much for which to be grateful.
Ghosts and goblins may frighten children, but real estate professionals are more likely scared of market volatility, computer crashes, or increasingly complex compliance requirements.
What a week it has been at the Yardi Advanced Solutions Conference (YASC) in Anaheim, California! First, a big congratulations to our YASC drawing winners - John Daly of Cushman & Wakefield and Lori Parks of Schafer Richardson.
With so much learned and shared and exciting things to report, it will take us a few days to digest it all. (There’s a reason, after all, that Forbes magazine just named Yardi one of the Best 100 Cloud Companies of 2016!)
One of the highlights of working at REdirect is that we work with the best in the business. Whether its consulting with high-performance investment managers or partnering with groundbreaking software visionaries at companies like Yardi, MRI, and RealPage, as real estate technology consultants, we have the chance to learn, grow, and share with la crème de la crème across the real estate industry: you – our partners and clients.
What goes up, must come down. Newton’s law is as applicable to the real estate market as it is to physics. The challenge for those of us in the industry is to equip ourselves with the tools we need to ride the market's dips and peaks, as well as think creatively about how—and where—to focus next.
For those of us in real estate investment and management, the beginning of summer means the start of budgeting season. June is the perfect time to take stock of your software capacity—both existing and potential—to ensure that your team has what they need to produce the most accurate, intelligence-driven budget possible.
Real estate technology can evolve almost as fast as the real estate market itself. That’s why sometimes even the best in the biz need some professional help to navigate it. From data security to data visualization, this month’s newsletter offers a variety of resources to help you harness the power of the ever-changing real estate technology space.
What better time to focus on growth than in the springtime? This April, REdirect offers new, useful resources to help you better understand the technology you have as well as how to capitalize on technology trends in the wider real estate industry.
Can you believe we're nearing the end of Q1 2016 already? This month's newsletter features pieces on MRI's Investment Management Module, Excel Automation, and the importance of accuracy in DHCR filings for New York property managers.
As always, the team here at REdirect is working hard, gathering market intelligence and leveraging our expertise to help clients make decisions that boost their bottom line. Our latest newsletter includes info on how to stay competitive on the West Coast and choosing the right software to deal with the wild wild west world of real estate investing.
In this month’s newsletter, we give you the rundown on RealPage's One-Site Budgeting tool. This is a powerful solution that automates the budgeting cycle for residential multi-family assets. We'll also sum up a few of the recent events we were lucky enough to attend all over the country.
This year, in lieu of traditional holiday cards and in gratitude for the blessings we've received, we will again be making a donation to Project Hope. Project Hope delivers essential medicines and supplies, health expertise, and medical training to respond to disaster, prevent disease, promote wellness, and save lives around the globe.
In between the flurry of autumn conferences and the subsequent holiday madness, there is small oasis of calm and renewal: the season to give thanks.
This month’s newsletter lets us take stock of all that we’ve learned and shared at conferences across the country, and also provides us with a small opportunity to express our gratitude and appreciation for our clients, our partners, and to each other across our growing REdirect team. It is a sincere pleasure to work with all of you, and we look forward to yet another productive season.
What a month! From New York to Anaheim to Amelia Island, FL and Las Vegas, we have literally been crisscrossing the country the last several weeks! It has been so exciting to share all the latest in real estate technology solutions with our friends, partners, and colleagues across the industry at a slew of dynamic, informative conferences.
