One of our biggest pieces of advice to MRI users is to have a good year-end process. A reliable procedure uses information from both inside and outside of your MRI system, which ensures all your data is entered correctly, then transferred to the General Ledger. This allows preliminary review, system balancing, correction of errors, and re-review prior to closing each module and generating your final reporting package.
Last year, I wrote “An End-of-Year Checklist for MRI Users.” I’ve made a few clarifying tweaks to the original post, to help speed you through your year-end MRI system closeout. There’s always room to improve your processes, and this checklist will help you solidify your best practices and ensure 2019 gets off to a great start.
