REdirect Consulting is headquartered in New York City and has been in business for over 20 years. We expanded operations into the UK in early 2019 and are looking forward to having a greater presence within the Build-to-Rent (BTR) community of investors, developers, and operators.

While we maintain a dedicated UK-based consultancy group, our USA and UK teams are completely integrated, meaning our UK consultants have the support of their USA counterparts for troubleshooting and problem-solving. With a formalized knowledge-sharing program, we ensure that lessons learned across all clients are shared among our team, regardless of location

Lessons learned from USA Multi-family

In the USA, BTR, commonly referred to as "multi-family," is pervasive across the country in both cities and more rural areas. We have worked with over 100 Build-to-Rent (multi-family) clients on multiple projects over the years including consulting on right-fit software selection, software implementation, business process reviews to optimize processes and technology use, automation, custom reporting, and ongoing software support or training.

Having delivered over 600 projects in the last 5 years, we have developed our own project methodology and project management systems that extend to our UK clients—meaning you can take advantage of the many years we’ve had in the USA to fine-tune the whole implementation/customization/upgrade process.

One of our clients, Monday Properties, is a dynamic investment firm that owns, operates, and develops properties with the goal of transforming communities. The firm currently has over 400,000 square meters of owned and operated property, with multi-family properties spanning 3 US states and in multiple cities. Terry Piscitelli, previous CFO of Monday Properties, had this to say about working with REdirect: "We have used REdirect's expertise on both the MRI and Yardi platforms extensively, and they have also helped us convert data from various other systems. Their knowledge of these platforms is incredible! I have worked with REdirect for years, both at Monday Properties and at a prior company. They stick to the plan, deliver on-time and budget, and that's important." Click here to read Terry's full testimonial.

Another one of our past clients, Robbins Property Associates, focuses solely on multi-family property acquisition and operation, with many amenity-rich features. Then-Director of Investor Relations, Travis Wobbekind, offered some insight on working with REdirect: "We knew it was time to upgrade beyond general ledger software and into a centralized system. Moving all of the data behind 63—and growing—multifamily properties was a massive undertaking. Working with REdirect made all the difference: we stayed under budget and within our timeframe. Simply put, we are now poised for even bigger growth in the year ahead, and working with REdirect has played a big role in that." Click here to read the full testimonial.

Where we see UK BTR heading and how we can help

With BTR buildings that have shared amenities like a swimming pool, conference space, or lounge—in regards to COVID-19 and the future of social distancing—tenants want to be able to reserve their spaces well in advance and have the comfort of knowing that there will only be a few other people there. We're watching USA multi-family operators deal with these issues and are helping them overcome through technology. One of the things that technology solutions provide is flexibility; considering all that has happened in the recent past, it's going to be a necessity.

REdirect's experience in UK Build-to-Rent includes recent Business Process Reviews and upcoming implementation of Yardi Residential. One of our leading UK consultants previously worked at Get Living to implement Yardi Residential. We have a wealth of documentation available from our past projects and a team of highly experienced consultants at the ready.

We fully anticipate Built-to-Rent housing to continue to grow within the UK and are eager to support that growth by helping you find and implement the right technology, processes, customizations and automation solutions.
