Before Spreadsheet Server we were  running and downloading reports from MRI for our monthly account reconciliations, financial statement analysis, and management reports. Generally the process would need to be repeated after final journal entries were made and most types of ad hoc reports were not possible on a quick turnaround. After starting with 15 licenses we quickly deployed the tool to all of our accountants who have found ways to streamline reconciliation and reporting processes and cut significant time off of the monthly financial statement close process. With Spreadsheet Server’s intuitive setup (due to being Excel based) we have absorbed significant additional work due to our company’s fast growth with less additional staff than would have been needed without the tool. We are able to easily populate month end support workpapers by just changing dates and build and customize reports such as variance analysis and trend reports, without needing a programmer or query skills. And last minute journal entries present no issues as the reports refresh automatically.
